Dancing Phoenix Crafts is the creation of Diane Hearn.

Diane has always had a love of craft and all things creative, which is one of the things which led her to qualify as a craft instructor. Diane has been teaching all ages, new and traditional craft techniques for many years now - both as a career and and as a hobby, helping students in evening classes alongside her daytime teaching. Diane and her late husband started doing craft fairs in the 1980's although they were forced to stop this after he became ill.

Upon retiring Diane was able to focus more on her own ideas. Retiring is traditionally the time when you relax and take things easier? but not with Diane. Diane has become even busier! She works within the community helping various charities and less able friends and relatives - even doing a sponsored climbing of mount Snowdon!

Diane currently runs several one afternoon/morning workshops for papercrafts. She currently teaches two craft groups for the U3A. And a whole host of other community based projects. Diane also loves spending time with her beloved grandchildren, who from the oldest ones in their 20's to the youngest ones, just starting school, are always centre stage.

A much recognised and loved member of the local area, her other hobbies include Family history, Gardening, short breaks (much needed!) to experience different places, reading and her second favorite hobby is, of course, Dancing!!!

Judith Morris is Diane's Daughter. She helps out where she can and is the person most likely to be sat at the computer answering emails etc. Judith also loves to Craft (how could she not?)but also runs a busy household with two young children. She also enjoys reading, music and fiddling some more on computers!
